2021 Silverado

The 2021 Silverado 1500 has a bold, rectangular grille with two chrome or body-colored bars and the Chevy symbol in the middle. You can choose from eight trim levels: Work Truck or WT, Custom, LT, RST, LTZ, High Country, Custom Trail Boss, and LT Trail Boss. With the WT, you'll get 17-inch wheels, all-season tires, a black plastic grille with CHEVROLET lettering across the center, front and rear skid plates, solar glass, LED headlights, 12 cargo tie-down points, a 120-volt outlet, and LED lighting for the truck bed. The optional Multi-Flex tailgate can work as a step for easier access to the truck bed, a standing workstation, or a load stop to keep cargo in place while the tailgate is open. The step can support up to 375 pounds, and it's a convenient seat during tailgate parties. You can add a power tailgate, a power sunroof, 18- 20- or 22-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, 4- or 6-inch power black or chrome assist steps, and storage spaces in the sides of the truck bed. Automatic high beams, fog lights, front and rear splash guards, a power-sliding rear window, and heated power-folding side mirrors are optional as well.

The 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V-6 engine gives 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque, and it uses a six-speed automatic transmission. You can also get a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque or a 5.3-liter V-8 with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. A 3.0-liter, turbocharged, six-cylinder diesel motor that provides 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and a four-cylinder, turbocharged, 2.7-liter engine that offers 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque are optional as well. Eight-speed and 10-speed automatic transmissions are available.

This truck has excellent acceleration and a smooth, responsive ride. It comes with a brake pad wear indicator and power steering. The Silverado can tow up to 13,400 pounds, and you can add performance exhaust, a performance air intake system, an engine block heater, and an external engine oil cooler. Four-wheel drive, a heavy-duty engine air filter, and a trailer brake controller are also available.

This truck comes with a variety of features, including a 7-inch touch screen, an exterior temperature display, voice recognition, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. You can choose dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, navigation, power heated and cooled leather seats, keyless entry, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and push-button start. You can also select folding rear seats, a seven-speaker Bose sound system with a subwoofer, two 120-volt power outlets, an 8-inch driver information center, an 8-inch touch screen, and SiriusXM satellite radio.

The 2021 Chevy Silverado has a rearview camera and six air bags. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking assistance are available. You can also select rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera system, and hill descent control.
