The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is leading the transition to electric vehicles with its remarkable eco-friendly performance. From the electric propulsion system to the high-tech safety features, we’re sharing everything drivers want to know about the new Chevrolet Equinox EV.
Introducing the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV
Performance
The Chevy Equinox EV’s electric propulsion system has a 12V/60AH battery that provides an EPA-estimated 319 miles on a full charge. The onboard charging module can reach Level 2 charge rates of up to 11.5 kW. The electronic precision shift selector located on the steering column helps you shift between various modes to accommodate different conditions.
Interior
The Chevy Equinox EV has 5-passenger seating with comfortable cloth seats that have plenty of head and legroom for everyone to stretch out on long rides. The driver’s seat has 6-way manual seat adjustments, while the front passenger seat has 4-way manual seat adjustments. The back seat is a 60/40 split that you can fold-flat or fold down on either side for increased cargo versatility.
The new Chevrolet Equinox EV comes with convenient functions like Remote Start and adaptive cruise control. Remote Start allows you to start your engine and control your climate system via the myChevrolet app on your mobile phone. Adaptive cruise control makes every road trip a little more relaxing by maintaining a pre-set speed and distance between your Equinox and the vehicle in front of it.
Tech
The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV comes with a 17.7-inch color LCD touchscreen with Google built-in compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, natural voice recognition, and navigation capability. The new Equinox EV is also 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capable, offering internet connection on multiple laptops, tablets, and smartphones within fifty feet of your SUV.
Safety
Similar to the 2024 model, this year’s Chevy Equinox EV comes equipped with Chevy Safety Assist to monitor your surroundings and alert you to possible hazards on the road. Additional assistive functions include Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, and Reverse Automatic Braking. There are plenty of safety features in the new Equinox EV that are not assistive-driving functions, including OnStar Basics, Tire Fill Alert, Passenger Sensing System, Teen Driver, and Safety Alert Seat.
